@mattblaze I also learned about SVB for the first time this morning and was equally not-shocked/horrified. Day job lives in the start-up sector, at the whim of external funding. These things scare the heck out of me as this lowly software engineer.
Quiet week on here as I was (gasp) trying to edit offline. Have discovered something about my writing process: sometimes regardless how much time I pour onto a project, the word count remains consistent. Perhaps time isn’t always the limiting factor >.< Why am I like this?
By the time I’ve finished re-writing this novel about AI and ghosts… an AI will be able ghost write it for me.
Super slow progress this week because of crazy work stuff.
New clothing collection launched yesterday (day job), and justifiable exhaustion today. Mammoth task pulling together the last bits of the online store yesterday.
Today I will (really) take a lunch break and do some editing/writing. Forced distance from the WIP is sometimes a good thing: I figured out why part of the plot wasn't working for me.
Editing/rewriting a novel that poured into @scrivenerapp over two consecutive #NaNoWriMo (so imagine the resulting mess). It was kind of plotted… which could be why I haven't set the thing on fire and buried the ashes yet. Glimpses of what it could be. But also, what was I thinking!? Detangling noodle-chapter chaos today. Entirely my fault. #amwriting
Super over tired today but only time I have to write. Let’s see how this goes. Prepare for the mangled words! 😫
