@scottjshapiro Looks like @elonjet is a good example of "lawful but awful". Elon's absolutism-fail is always hilarious. But people failing to see @elonjet's awfulness is also really weird.

@mattblaze 100% agree! Also, there are good ranking algorithms that filter out obvious nonsense, and bad ranking algorithms that shove click-bait in your face. Chronological ranking is somewhere near the boring, unhelpful middle of that spectrum.

@ncweaver Agreed. Musk firing all the content moderation/T&S people, and mastodon relying only on volunteers to do the same job are effectively the same thing. Both trivialize the problem.

@duckswithpants It is so difficult to find sensible discussions about anything related to crypto. I watched this channel too, and I liked it. But my favorite source has been Matt Levine's columns.
