Very happy upgrading to this much more compact flip-flopper AMS loft. Previous incarnation, shots of the new one and a shot of the feet I made for it:
#3dprinting
I’ve been working on design more and more and realizing how many specialized things I’ve actually designed. This is a foot for an AMS loft I’m planning on employing. Typically it either sits on a riser or a giant build plate organizer but I wanted something shorter so made this, with a plan of putting tpu along the bottom for grip. It’s pretty basic but I really love how it came out. Printing its pair now.
#3dprintingAwww yeeeee! Quite happy. The conversion kit was on sale for about as much as just an enclosure (like Vision) was, but includes all the cooling and system enhancements (sans lidar) of a full P1S.
Ok finished up last night, printing a benchy, as one does, looking good so far. All fans responding. Looks like I’ve got a P1S now! (Sans lidar, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
Bambu Handy still uses the P1P icon while studio uses P1S (there’s a toggle to indicate you have installed the enclosure). Everything on the top there are spares and leftovers. Quite a few gotchas they don’t warn you about and the install document is a 300 word wiki entry and a 20 min video. There are some considerable differences now >_<
