I will be hosting #OpenBSD and #PF firewall courses at @linuxhotel in the city of Essen, Germany.

Currently there are no dates set for either course, but it is possible to send Linuxhotel a proposal for the next date.

The target audience are system administrators who would like to learn about OpenBSD and PF in order to use them as part of their network security tool set.

(Do not be afraid to sign up if you do not understand German. While the courses are advertised in German, written course material will be in English and the presentation will be entirely in English if preferred by participants.)

@herrbischoff That's probably not going to happen. But there will be (or is alrady) an AI (of course) that can translate the voice message to text.

Actually, the limits are set for a user, but they are per process.
If you set the fd limit to 1024 for user foo, then user foo can start many
processes and each process can consume 1024 file handles.

Ah, it's one of those days... for the last 15 minutes, I'm trying to figure out why my laptop terminals have a bit of a red tint. The background should be black. I checked the configured color. I set the background (again) to solid black. I questioned if my panel has aged enough already that colors change. But why would black change?

Anyway... it's sunny and I'm wearing a red t-shirt.

This is clearly a case of: not enough coffee yet.

@eff @pluralistic @IGN When you shut down a game's servers, you should be required to open-source the server software. When you stop selling a game, you should be required to open-source the entire game. ✊
