I am moving this account over to [email protected].

It's been very interesting here at infosec.exchange where I built my "infosec" circle, but now it's time to move over to a community more focussed on my actual professional circle -- rather than the domain in which I work.

I will obviously stay in touch with infosec.exchange and keep posting about #cybercrime and #infosec, and stay up to date with all you guys! Cheers all! 🍻

@BronwynHemsley I gave in when I could not figure out a way to make a sentence in a paper I was writing less convoluted. It actually helped.

This year too I am co-orgainizing WACCO, the IEEE Workshop on Attackers and Cybercrime Operations. Highly multidisciplinary venue on #cybercrime considering #infosec and #computerscience perspectives as well as #criminology, #psychology and #economics angles and contributions.

This year in beautiful Delft, the Netherlands! πŸ‡³πŸ‡± A few minutes away from The Hague and Rotterdam πŸš… πŸš²πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

We accept technical papers as well as "research talks" for (esp. multidisciplinary) contributions and working papers looking for feedback from our PC (of which we are very proud of) opting out of the IEEE proceedings.

Does anybody have experience with using grammarly for scientific publications? Very interested in any insights on how that impacted your research/teaching/supervision. #academicchatter #research #phd
@erinnacland @academicchatter a first important step is to choose employers that do not prioritize the opposite when considering career growth, and tenure especially.
If you fear your students can cheat using chatGPT at your exam that may be a sign your exam asks the wrong questions #academia #academicmastodon #academicchatter
@marcoalbertini beh insomma in Europa no ma per il modello americano siam li πŸ˜‰
@jerry pretty sure this is accurate.
Just saw this on Reddit, regret not having it in the cybercrime intro course last quartile. https://reddit.com/r/funny/comments/10n7zbh/whats_a_cd_drive/
