Parents at Catholic schools across Victoria have been locked out of their school portals for nearly a month after hackers triggered a system shut down.

The SIMON Schools software platform, which is used throughout Victoria's Catholic education system, was taken offline on October 24.

The system allows parents to access assessment marks, teacher comments, homework, school calendar, student profiles, and historical reports.
