🏳️🌈🖖🏽Kevin McCarthy actually said this: “If we have to play into overtime to curb spending and secure the border, I’m prepared to do it.” Let’s get one thing straight. There is NO OVERTIME. Overtime means you shut the government down and don’t pay federal workers, including military personnel, for their service and time. What a joke. What a loser.
Biden's re-election campaign is sending my Governor, Gavin Newsom, to the second Republican presidential debate this week. He’s there to respond in real time with Democratic points. He’s honestly the only reason to watch the debate. But I’ll probably wait till afterwards. Can’t stand the nastiness of the GOP.

Let’s not forget what Kevin McCarthy and the GOP choose to spend time and resources on this month: a baseless impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden and attacks upon the Justice Department for doing its job.
Instead of passing the budget they already agreed to this spring, they waste time and taxpayer money doing the bidding of extremists within their ranks, all while careening toward yet another government shutdown.
We must vote them out next fall. As many as we possibly can.
