For people on #ChatGPT Plus plans(~$20), stick to 5.4 instead of 5.5 to make your accounts run twice as long. I asked ChatGPT to do a cost benefit comparison and this is what it came up with.
I was slightly annoyed when my github issue in the #Pi repo was closed within minutes as part of their anti-clanker protection. Was relieved when it was reopened manually the next day and accepted.
I know the devs are competent enough, and so are their tight circle of contributors, but sad to see this as the future of opensource contributions as bug reports. In every repo you are deemed unworthy till a human has the time to review your contribution.

TLDR:
1. Signups for all plans are paused while they stabilize
2. Opus models only available at highest tier.
3. Only Opus 4.7 available in highest tier
4. HUGE: billing now moves to weekly/daily limits like other providers.
But removing "affordable" Opus 4.5/4.6 for 4.7 for highest tier seems bad, given how 4.7 uses about 50% more tokens that before.
Fml, I had to migrate from an old #MacBook to a new one using thunderbolt. As per all docs, I disabled #Bluetooth and WiFi to force it to thunderbolt cable and it didn’t work no matter what I tried, and used a crappy p2p connection instead
So I gave up and let them find themselves over the faster wifi. And *now* #migrationassistant discovered the long lost #thunderbolt cable (3gbps) 🤦🏻♂️
