Mountain Dew has a new marketing program, called MTN DEW RAID which will scan Twitch streams with the #Gaming tag, searching for Mountain Dew products and logos visible.

If the streamer is part of the RAID program then they'll be rewarded, otherwise it'll send a chat to the streamer asking if they want to participate.

This is a great example of the kinds of capabilities that will now be widespread as AI is commoditized .

I thought once I had my own Mastodon server I would never get rate limited (especially when using Mastodon on various apps/devices). Still happens.

So I wrote this script to modify the authenticated user rate limit in rack_attack.rb. Need to re-run whenever you update to a new Mastodon version.

save as a .sh file, chmod +x it and then ./ it somewhere on your server
