Bitcoin miners are losing $19,000 on every BTC produced as difficulty drops 7.8%

The average production cost was sitting at $88,000 per bitcoin in mid-March, according to Checkonchain's difficulty regression model.

@dev @cross @steve I liked C from the years I lived in England. Every 10 degrees is basically a season and a wardrobe change, and each degree is just enough to be meaningful. F degrees are a little too close together.

0-10: cold, wear a coat, gloves, etc
10-20: cool, wear a jacket or sweater
20-30: warm and pleasant
30-40: hot, shorts only
40+: summer in the desert (where I live)

That’s just what I picked this morning. Peppers in my garden are a boom or bust thing so in boom years I dry them and grind them into chili powder. So many habaneros mixed in that I’m getting orange powder
