Tbh i actually am okay with providing free labor in this sense for both google and reddit. The real problem is the directional bias which in many ways wont in the end really benefit us or the company. One thing for data to be used and shared anonymousily with researchers and the algorithim so it can be built on in many different way that make privacy easier in other system, other for the algorithim basically not even working as a effective targetting system.

I mean two things can be true, but thaf should be the point too. When people start talking about nazi sympathyzer which was an accusation made aganist them in their time as well, they tend to simplify things down to a black and white image of what that means to us now.
The more involved someone is in fact, the more likely you are gonna find something that is gonna be rightfully problematic. Not to say it shouldnt be viewed as such
@JessTheUnstill
Maybe though i think the issue is even further than that which is if we cant understand how people in the past were both stimeousily good yet did bad things, how can we understand when it occurs now? We cant portray these past figures as one way or the other and instead recognize how they were also interplaying with different aspects. We need to be focusing on recognizing more not simply flipping what we recognize
I think the difficulty that we are increasingly moving/returning towards with how politics works is that we are going to have to engage with greyer #intersectional concepts yet at the current time we sometimes like to view how individuals behave in more black and white ways even while promoting non black and white ideals. The difficulty of for example balancing preventing abuse by #corporations versus representation of relevent #group_dynamics that do in fact interect with legitimate needs
@IGN
That is not neccsaeily the direction i wanted for prince of persia but seems like it will appeal to fans who didnt like the sands of time series
Though I am opposed to them, Vivek Ramaswamy is a canidate to be interested in not neccsarily because they are going to win, but instead because of their focus and how it interconnects with politics on one both sides. It may seem that they are simply an ongoing of the same claimed anti-woke efforts as the rest of the GoP, but I argue they are much closer to being representative of internet politics as well as the failing to go into grey area issues to GoP benefit #USpolitics #greyarea #justice
Gotta admit that too often when I see a joke on a politically connected topic though I can usually get the joke, I just as much have to question if the concept being used as the joke concept is as ridiculous or even problematic as it sounds intially. Even at times question if it is something that exists in our society already instead of the indirect parody of another topic it is meant to be , but that it is just something we are socially normalized too #weird_thoughts
@artofsoulburn another issue will be works such as programming and writing where people may use them to build something larger and in fact actively interecting with the AI over and over again to build something grander. This is where i suspect cases will come up even if technically settled
@artofsoulburn
I admit I dont think this will be the final descion in the end even if they claim so. I expect certain cases will open it up when it comes especially ones where there is more active interection in a sense between the human and AI. I think there is an interesting discussion to be had that is being skipped over on the aspect of literary art given physical form through the prompts and the interections when people do progressive editing via the AI and what prompts they select
It is interesting what people focus on in relation to #aiandsociety To me, I feel like there should be more focus on how new #interactions between humans are invoked and enabled such as how editing and using prompts allows you to create and refine around specific ideas creating interections between you and #AI to create something, but I think most just focus on it as a direct use method with some analysis of bias. Even #bias though is a place we need to talk about interections more though...
