@squishymage42 @JessTheUnstill IKR? I never will forget my 7th or 8th grade teacher gushing about Chas. Lindbergh and his solo flight from NY to Paris in 1927.

We were studying WWII and she said not a word about this guy being a Nazi sympathizer and a leading member of the America First Committee. Seriously, two things can be true about the same person.

I mean two things can be true, but thaf should be the point too. When people start talking about nazi sympathyzer which was an accusation made aganist them in their time as well, they tend to simplify things down to a black and white image of what that means to us now.
The more involved someone is in fact, the more likely you are gonna find something that is gonna be rightfully problematic. Not to say it shouldnt be viewed as such
