@quixoticgeek clearly walking, cycling and public transport are the main solutions to the negative impact of cars, but even for any remaining cars, the argument is nonsense. Either you've got a place to park your car and a charging station can be installed there, or you don't, and you can't get a combustion car either. (We should generally have much less space dedicated to parking cars, but as long as the space exists, we can and will make it work for electric cars too.)
