It Has Finally Become Clear What Elon Musk Wants Twitter to Be

Something it has never been before.

For the people saying that Twitter was running fine even after the massive layoffs, this is what the impact to complex software systems looks like. It’ll work fine at first, then begin degrading worse and worse as new variables are introduced and those with the knowledge are no longer there to provide insight or proactively handle issues. Eventually all their time will be consumed just keeping things running. #birdsite #software https://www.theverge.com/2023/3/6/23627444/twitter-down-outage-images-links-error-message-api
Twitter’s links and pictures were broken, but now they’re not

A Twitter outage on Monday broke every link posted to the site, and many images stopped loading. The outage appears to be resolved, with Elon Musk complaining that the site he bought for $44 billion is “so brittle.”
