#Writers of the Fediverse. I have created a little tool to help you exercise your creative writing muscles.

The premise is simple. You get a prompt and get 30 minutes to write a short story.

If you sign up and use it, please let me know how it could be improved. I built this as a way for my wife to have a place to practice her writing. I would love to know how to make it even better for her.

“The kinds of figures we’re talking about—that would actually save public money, remember—are rounding errors in most transportation budgets. So cities are literally wasting public money by not investing in smart bike infrastructure.”
This is still a really important conversation, between @modacitylife & I. Give it a read.

I was not booed yesterday on Bajor. It was 90% cheering and maybe 10% booing.

Fantastic new @notjustbikes video!

When it comes to making a better city, it's parking all the way down. Tackle that, and there's no shortage of things you can do with the space.

"These parking minimums — most of them unchanged since 1965 — are now gone and in their place are bicycle parking requirements, including one bike for every two lanes at bowling alleys and at least one bicycle spot for every 800 square feet at restaurants."

“How many parking lots do we see that are big shopping centers (and) the parking lot is half empty?” said one councilmember

I love walkability. I just had a 15 minute break in a Zoom and I walked to the ATM, realized I forgot my card, went back and got it, went to the ATM and got cash, some snacks from the bodega, came back and turned on my heated blanket and took a bathroom break and still had like 90 seconds to spare.
