In the new #mastodonandroid app... I tap the magnifying glass icon to see everything, but all the posts are hours/days old. Anyone else getting this?

One thing that confuses me about #Mastodon is all the different variants (federations? Not sure of the right term.) Do you join one then get to see everything, or should you join several variants??
