So the International Energy Agency is arguing that other than flying less & driving slower, the best bet for developed countries to dal with the upheavals in the energy market caused by the US/Israeli attacks on Iran (and Iran's reprisals) is to expand working from home...

National Car Parks (who stated out converting WW2 bomb-sites into car parks) has gone into administration after post-Covid shifts in the way we works & shop has so reduced the use of car parks that they are unable to make a profit - which for an essentially rentier business is surprising.
It will continue trading while some sort of future for the business is resolved... but it looks like the end of an era (in some ways).

Q. how much of the pressure from senior managers to bring workers back to the office more often (if not for the entire working week) is generational?
Are senior managers jealous of the 'freedoms' gained by younger staff working from home, never extended to them on their way up (when they were 'shackled' to a desk)?
If so, we may see the pressure on workers to be in the office ease as mangers retire?
