@erikvisser @elmine I now really manage my content in Obsidian, WP was just publishing. [See my journey](https://drostan.org/updates/2025/07/digital-gardening/), warning "this is probably not for you" ;-)
Publishing Markdown files is doable if you're willing to endure some technical work, but still far from "crossing the chasm".
We're looking at it as an option for Doaidag, though.
In the Social Web devroom I concluded WP has a lot of fediverse etc out-of-the-box, and is the most comfortable for me to build out that part.
@elmine I've been trying to set something up for a situation like that... work in progress to combine Wordpress and a static site

There are no benevolent dictators.
We shape our tools, and our tools shape us. And that holds for governance of our tools too. Set it up with a “benevolent dictator for life”, and sooner or later, you will find yourself in a dictatorship.

Using AI in Obsidian
I have been using Perplexity for a while now. It became my AI tool of choice because it provides good links to sources. However, it was difficult to combine it with working on my notes in Obsidian. I had to bring my notes to the AI, and then bring the answers back to my notes. But no more!
