In the global refugee crisis, one group remains largely invisible,LGBTQI+ refugees. Fleeing war, persecution, and violence for simply being who they are, many find no safety even in refugee camps. Instead, they face homophobia, stigma, hunger, and medical neglect.

In 2018, I was forced to flee my home country, Uganda, due to severe homophobic persecution from both my family and my community. Seeking safety, I fled to Kenya, hoping for protection. But in 2023, my case, like many others, was denied proper processing and support.🙌🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
