Wow! Last week I received Loyola University's highest award for faculty research for "The Octopus In The Parking Garage." Thanks to all my Loyola colleagues, students, and librarians for your support on this project. Many arms make easy lifting. #ClimateResilience

Happy December! For the holidays, and to coincide with the UN's Climate Summit, I'm recirculating shout-outs to some of the #ClimateResilience Jedis I met while writing The Octopus In The Parking Garage. Wendi Gao, below, was a favorite and also appeared on my "Connect the Dots" podcast. She helped solarize her high school as a teen, testifying at meetings across her state. An inspiring gift, perhaps--stories of real people facing the facts and rising to the occasion. Please share! 📚🐙
Resilience is in our DNA.
This holiday season, let's commit to hope and resilience. #ClimateResilience #ClimateChange #Books #ClimateJustice #hope
