I have COVID 
I'm stranded in Austin and can't fly home until my symptoms go away. Hopefully that'll be as soon as Sunday, but this ruined a trip that I was really excited about.
Please, please, please keep wearing your masks. The pandemic is not over and pretending it is will only make things worse.
@magen Nothing personal, of course! I'm just wondering if I'd rather be surrounded by people connected by (for instance) board games or neurodivergence rather than software security.
I suppose once I start adding more and more people to follow that might be less of an issue.
Now I'm wondering if another Mastodon server might be more appropriate for me.
How often to people jump from server to server here? Or am I stuck in this one forever?

I'm a web developer (front and back end) who lives in Southern California (though I'm currently on vacation traveling through Europe). I'm passionate about social justice issues and learning more about the world around me along with the experiences of those who share it with me.
The rights of marginalized people are not up for debate.
I love music, especially jazz, and I play the piano. I also enjoy running, reading, watching movies, playing board games, and spending time with my dog Arlo (see attached for pet tax).
