When talking about EVs with people who never drove one, a major key to "wow" moments is a simple conversion from kWh to liters. Most drivers know how many liters their car consumes per 100 km. We grow up with that measure in our heads.

1 liter of gas = 8.5 kWh

Let's compare a pretty standard SUV (VW ID.4 vs. VW Tiguan)

ID.4: ~17 kWh = ~2 liters
Tiguan: ~8 liters

Even if simplified, such mental tools help to get a better feeling/understanding and that's what it is all about.

Schon witzig: Die FOSS Community will mehr Nutzer, aber manche "Ultras" drohen @fdroidorg mit Boykott, nur weil manche Apps dort jetzt KI nutzen. Wenn die wüssten, dass 50 % ihrer Software (auch Linux) längst mit KI-Hilfe geschrieben wurde, müssten sie wohl zurück zu Rechenschieber und Walkie-Talkie. 🤷‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Das ist so, als würde man den Supermarkt boykottieren, nur weil es dort Milch gibt.
