On a more personal note, this update has been the hardest I’ve worked on so far. There was a few times where I wasn’t sure I could deliver it. I burnt out back in December and had to take a month off. But I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, and I hope you all do too! It lays out some pretty important foundations for things to come and should make certain updates a lot easier. Onwards!

@Joekw I need to look into this more but at least when I tried earlier, the files listed changed from one build attempt to another, with quite a few listed. Probably should check again with a clear head tomorrow

What are you supposed to do if your project doesn’t compile with Xcode 26 with a non-descript “Command SwiftCompile failed with a nonzero exit code” error that seemingly points at nothing specific?

@invisibit Sequel 2.5 lays the groundwork for switching to a better books data source actually. Although none of the data sources I’ve found so far are perfect and all have significant downsides. Combining sources in search is also not really an option as it would mean many duplicated results… it’s still high on my list but isn’t an easy fix for reasons that are outside of my control 😅
