Inspired by @snazzyq, I picked up an Xteink X4 and I love it. I was tempted by a BOOX Palma but this is smaller, cheaper and less capable which is exactly what I wanted. Shown next to my Kobo Libra Colour at max brightness for comparison.

Set a daily goal, get a reminder after a specified amount of time, or use a rolling goal over multiple days.
