@tfunken @kwf And their IPv6 peering dispute with HE remains. Maybe one day they'll fix it.
@alyx Me too. It's like a new person every 2 weeks.
@keat Never! You’ll take my Hotmail email address from my cold dead hands!
@sn0n 100% do proxmox. @deathwing forced me to learn(he wouldn't do the setup for me haha) and it was 100% worth it. It's awesome being able to spin up VM's the second I(or someone else aka @foxon need them).
The idea that cable providers (or any ISP) would make good copyright cops is terrifying to me (speaking only for myself).

@kwf Like EOL ever stopped anyone from using something.

@nixCraft I thought DNS was supposed to be easier than raw IPs
@Flux Yup, can’t route over a protocol you can connect to. I host my personal WG server on a VPS that has ipv6 so that way I always have v6 connectivity no matter where I go. Though I’m connected to azire 99% of the time, just when I need to access a machine I’ve firewalled to myself only.
@zym @Flux Never used tailscale myself but looks like they support it: https://tailscale.com/kb/1121/ipv6
Tailscale IPv6 support

Tailscale and WireGuard® fully support IPv6.

Tailscale

@zym @Flux Yes! I use Azire VPN as they give you a GUA IPv6 and so your OS actually prefers it!

And if you run your own VPN over wireguard, it's very easy to setup with a routed IPv6 subnet.
