I'm from working class London roots & was born in a naval hospital in Gosport. My toddler years were spent in Singapore. Early childhood in Essex. Migrated to Australia (with parents & brothers) at 7. Victoria then NSW then Victoria. Too many homes to mention. Moved back to UK at 27. Essex, then Cambridge & now South London.
Married with adopted daughter. Our dog died in 2020 & I'm not over it.

I'm very impressed by the way it's all kept going during the huge Twitter migrations. A few blips and error codes but nothing major.

So, I have had advice from @charlesroper (thanks buddy), but I'm curious if having my own server would benefit me say if I used masto hosts lowest price per month... I'd lock it down to just me as admin with 5 main accounts max, just wondering if I'd be charged for follows kinda like website traffic and of course how much media I post, I could always make my content have a set time before it wipes itself bit was curious if others who have their own instance have any advice on this at all?
