I started working from home a few years ago, and not having that hour-each-way commute has been amazing.
But I've realized that those two hours per day that I wasted are probably still being wasted. I'm sure I could pretend I'm still commuting and find 2 more hours per day to do something more productive with my time.
Elon Musk is Still Silencing the Journalists he Banned from Twitter.
It looks like our accounts have been reinstated, but it's an illusion: We're actually locked out and can't post anything without deleting specific tweets the billionaire doesn't like.
This latest article embeds a Mastodon post and links to posts by @drewharwell @MattBinder @w7voa and @tony

Protip for the new mastodonians: don't obfuscate names or words - only hashtags work for search so you won't get troll bombed if you say Elon Musk.
Filters, however, work on anything, so those who don't want to see Elon Musk won't see this post.
But if you write El*n M*sk they WILL see it, and that might make them mad, so don't do it okay? Let people use their filters.
Have you tried following someone and it says "pending"?
In theory this is meant to only happen when someone has manual follower approval switched on. If they have it switched on, there will be a padlock π next to their name on their profile.
However, "pending" may also happen if servers are overwhelmed and your request is in a long queue, or there is some kind of technical fault.
Don't assume someone is rejecting your follow if you see "pending". They might not even know it is happening.
My holiday time off is almost here! Looking forward to working on some fun geek projects.
Some additional #HomeAutomation around my #Hubitat hub, maybe play with a new (to me) programming language, or perhaps work on rebuilding my #Plex setup when one of my SSD's died the other week.
Or maybe I'll just eat popcorn and doomscroll. πβ
