@vkc Jellyfin is so so much better than I expected it to be.
Now I need the time to watch my stuff.
@SwiftOnSecurity Agreed this has annoyed me so much. It makes everything hard to find when there is no "filesystem"

I think my top two are "Blaming the User" and Trying Stuff Until it Works."

Found something remarkable (and also quite sad).

In 1997, Wired published "The Long Boom", a hyper-optimistic article about how we'd achieve Utopia by 2020.

The authors included notes on some "scenario spoilers"—negative events that might send is in a worse direction.

...and those spoilers turned out to be almost spookily accurate.

Question for #CommodoreAmiga gurus out there: I’m trying to get A-Max 2.5 working on my #AmigaCDTV but it will only do so with JP15 disabled. This also hides the extended ROM which means the SCSI card doesn’t work (floppy only).

Is there a way to extract the scsi.device from the extended ROM and use a manual mountlist for KS1.3 to get the SCSI port working again?

Ps pls boost! ✨

Most areas of human thought are wrong because they assume they're right. Science is mostly right because it assumes it is wrong.

Most ways of achieving things fail because they assume they'll work. Engineering mostly works because it assumes things will go wrong.

@joeltelling Can I say hideous?
