We can fight back. Certain municipalities in WA state have turned off their #Flock ALPRs on streets, either due to legal fights in the courts (such as Skagit county) or because of ICE arrests and public outcry (like in Redmond). #deflock

#Flock ALPRs don't just read license plates. They log your bumper stickers, dents, roof racks, and more — all to violate your privacy and sell your data to law enforcement, ICE, or whoever else is willing to pay. Your movements are added to their database, and those with access can query for this data now and in the future. #deflock

It seems like Home Depot and Lowe's have a contracts with #Flock. Every store of theirs in my metro area seems to have them. This shows that they're more than happy to violate your right to privacy and assist ICE. #deflock

Help your local community and add your local Flock ALPRs to #openstreetmap. Once added and tagged properly, they'll show up on deflock.me. If you don't use OSM and prefer to use deflock.me, it'll also get added to OSM! Links below for more info:

GrapheneOS is great and I recommend it all the time for Android users who are concerned about spying by governments and law enforcement.
