Flock network audit logs show San Bernardino Sheriff's Department ran 371,306 searches last year, averaging over 1000 per day. The vast majority of those (226,837) had no reason provided, and many had a generic reason like 'investigation', making it impossible to audit whether the system is being used appropriately and hold anyone accountable.
None of these searches required a warrant, case number, or even probable cause.
