Regretfully, the petition to remove #LGBT content from the #UK curriculum has 197,100 signatures.
The counter petition asking for that content to remain, is rapidly gaining ground. It now has 78,919 signatures!
Pls sign the counter petition if able. British citizens & UK residents have the right to sign. Pls boost otherwise!

It's not about whether you personally want to or need to drive. It’s about understanding the simple truth that in cities, if everyone tries to move by car, no one moves much at all. So the more of us that are enticed to walk, bike and take transit, the better cities work for EVERYONE.
Great article but unfortunately with a lot of focus on Canadian schemes when there are plenty in the U.K.
Do like the idea of Swopfiets in the Netherlands which is a long-term loan scheme
If we are to get more people on bikes - good for #health and for #AirPollution - then these schemes need to be readily accessible along with proper safe infrastructure
(Caveat - bikes should not be left blocking pavements)
