You gotta love this one! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I want you to do some homework, internet.

Today i want you to compliment someone. Not in a weirdo creepy way, but in a light, friendly one. Tell someone they did a good job. Tell someone their hair looks great today, or notice they got new glasses or shoes. Just something little.

you dont even have to turn in this homework!

Just do it, for me, and see if you can make someone happy for 30 seconds.

This news about Apple being classified as a gatekeeper is big news. I'm still not sure if anything will come to pass (we've seen these threats, messages, laws come before).

But what I'm absolutely positive about is that if it does come to pass, it will be worldwide. If there is one thing Apple is horrible at, it's separate processes for different groups and this isn't trivial functionality.

It’s so sad what SIP has done to DTrace on Mac, rendered it almost useless.

iPologists always say “You can disable SIP”, but as a developer you really can’t, because then your testing environment is very different from your customers’ environment. https://mastodon.social/@mjtsai/111008512234575806

I didn't even know Top-down folks existed. it's like reading the book in reverse:

Are you a top or bottom person? Okay, get your mind out of the gutter. This is about how you typically read your feed here. Thanks for playing! [ ] Top down (newest first) [ ] Bottom up (oldest first) [ ] Squirrel (no particular order)

fuck apple for not letting you update the name on your developer account btw

I'm finally getting around to upgrading my drives in my zfs pool. I thought: "I think I'm a little past five years ". The first drive I replaced was from 2011 😅😅😅

Hopefully the additional load from the resilvering process doesn't kill the other drives. 🤞🤞🤞

Pro-tip if you're using #VSCode and #Python: use snippets to speed up things that you often want but “it's too much typing”.

It feels great to type >>>[TAB] and get the full invocation for the interactive console in that line of code.
