Hey millennials, remember how our parents cautioned us as kids not to believe everything we saw on TV or read on the news?

What happened there? How did so many of our parents forget their own advice?
Since it's NationalPoetryDay I'll repost this piece of mine called "Drips in the Cave":
Man, being old is weird. I'm old enough to remember when "anyone can be President" was a statement of hope and aspirations rather than the opening line of a horror novel.

I just posted a new #shortstory on my blog. It's a journey of self-discovery, traveling through doubt and shame, and overcoming the clutches of fear with the help of a community of strangers. If you enjoy allegories, I'd love it if you give it a read and let me know what you think. https://randalljgreene.com/the-tunnel/

Winter brings more than just ugly sweaters – here's how the season can affect your mind and behavior

Some of winter’s effects have been tied to cultural norms and practices, while others likely reflect our bodies’ innate biological responses to shorter days and colder weather.
