I play harmonica and sing in a choir, and generally try to make a little bit of music. I like camping and hiking, I have a tiny tiny campervan. I also have a lovely dog. I work, but that's not so interesting.

Who says you can't mix #harmonica, traditional Irish music and #chiptune ? Not me !

Here is The Drunken Landlady, a traditional Reel played on #tremolo harmonica in G, with some #electrofolk (and chip-tunish) accompaniment.

If you must ask, yes I've had a fun time doing this 😁

If you're in or around #Guildford (Uk) there's a great #lgbtqia+ exhibition for #pride month, at New Art House, worth having a look. (I went to the opening event, but am in no way connected to New Art House or the organisers of the exhibition - I'm just sharing for info)

@pimento Happy Birthday Jojo !

Payday is tomorrow, and money a bit tight after my camping trip (also because I paid for my June camping trip too).

I had £3.83 left on my account. Then I saw an email that Neofeud (from @silverspookgames ) is currently discounted. I went to check, and with the discount it was *exactly* £3.83 . A sign if I ever saw one ! I bought the game obviously ! Payday being tomorrow, it's fine 😀

I'm a point and click fan, and so far I'm liking it, I'll give a review once I played a bit more !

Maybe there are folk historians here who can help me.

I notice in the UK places where geological or ancient features are explained with stories involving the devil (the devil's jumps in West Sussex, The Devil's Dyke near Brighton, the Devil's Chair in Shropshire).

The devil in those stories doesn't sound like the Christian devil.

Are these pre-Christian tales that originally related to other gods/daemons and after Christianisation were all lumped as "the devil" ?

Still in #Shropshire in my tiny, tiny #campervan ! I did two hikes today: one around Stapely hill where I saw a bronze age stone circle (as well as beautiful views of green rolling hills), and in Stiperstone where I saw some amazing rocky outcrops (and amazing views!) one of which is said to have been created when the devil with an apron full of stones had a rest there - leaving the stones behind after his apron broke.
I'm camping in #shropshire for the weekend with my tiny, tiny #campervan ! Did a lovely walk this morning. Walked on Offa's Dyke path, up to Cwm-Sanaham hill top. Route was about 8km, with 290m ascent (partly because I took a wrong way and had to backtrack!). The skies are grey, and it was very windy at the top but good temperature for a walk in the hills.

@jvw And the collective noun for kongrats is an ulation.

Hence: a kongrat ulation.

Walking on a small road alongside a wood this evening, a small bird came out of the trees with what I assume was a nut in its beak, landed on the road, hit the nut hard three times against the tarmac and then flew off.
