"Here you go," the guard said, "in you go with the others."
The door clanged shut behind me. The cell was quite crowded, a quite homogenous group of men looked at me.
How to say it in Latin? "Cur in carcerem es?"
"We are also time travellers," one said in English, "here to warn Caesar."
Me: Sure, I'll send the board game you bought to you. What's the address?
Them: Elendil 183, townname
Me: ... wut ... ?
Turns out that someone in the planning department of a small Dutch town was a huge Tolkien fan and came up with such street names as Elendil, Varda, Saruman, and Denethor. An entire neighbourhood full of them!
So in order to sell board games I've been advised to go to the Dutch Facebook board game sales page, since it's quite active.
Which means I need a Facebook account - brrr ...
Which means I need an expendable email address. So I thought I'd go to yahoo mail and get a new address there ...
... and found a really old address ppkwdf, which I created in, I think, 1998, to receive a mailing list on. Oh the memories! Unfortunately the mails are gone now.
