It was an "Ivy League" place so no shortage of Jews (perhaps including the conductor), but not so many observant ones. Looking back, I realize how cool it was for them to work it out and in a way that the audience couldn't really tell that something was up.
Anyway, it's not that interesting a story but I felt like telling it anyway.
