Loved the moment of visiting #fail0verflow #39C3 assembly, asking if there were some more dev boards around and receiving a short "they were gone quickly" and then seeing a @bunnie deeply focused on a dark themed editor and terminal open.

Quite curious how Xous will find adoption, the talk with Rust Borrower/Server/MMU Page message system sounds quite exciting. Kernels are usually either research or never ready, so it's great seeing what can happen in other situations.

I feel like @pajowu made this #39c3 closing ceremony one of my favorite to date. "Close your eyes (if you wish) and recall few days, for some of you few weeks ago, entering the CCH for the first time for this congress". Really enjoyed that moment of introspection, accessing memories and maybe coming out with a warm feeling after some intense but perhaps sometimes confusing days.

The German government has committed half a billion euros for research on long COVID and other post-infection syndromes including ME/cfs.

Yay!!! 🥳🎉

This is to support their National Decade Against Post-Infectious Diseases from 2026 to 2036.

They aim “to cover a range of topics, including the pathophysiology and immunology of the conditions, diagnostics and biomarkers, mental health and neurology, and long-term consequences on health” - a deliberately broad scope to give scientists freedom versus restrictions.
