Robinhood seems to be taking a lesson from the crypto world. “Sports bets” are now “event contracts”, and “gambling” is now “an emerging asset class”. Perhaps the next pickpocket to be caught by police should try informing the officer that they’re merely democratizing finance!

Wired magazine is making big US news orgs look stupid and incompetent. Wired understands what's at stake in the Musk-led database/payment systems takeovers -- and it's doing the reporting to tell the public what's going on. Example:

Reuters is also seriously on the case.

The Young, Inexperienced Engineers Aiding Elon Musk’s Government Takeover

Engineers between 19 and 24, most linked to Musk’s companies, are playing a key role as he seizes control of federal infrastructure.

"triple dipper" @ 40 on the #kilterboard -- fun climb, though I don't think it's worth of the grade (7c+/V10) unless you avoid matching. Even then it's probably a bit soft. I would give it 7c/V9 tops, and even less if you match. #bouldering
"Full Swings", another nice V7 2019 #moonboard problem that took a few burns to get done. Last move was very spanny, and I think shorter folks will find that much harder than a lanky bastard like me.

Nice read ahead. I have already read several books by UK based climbers from different times and ever single one was good.

High point on my outdoor project “The Ring”. This one was so painfully close. Fell on the last hard move of the route. Second to last move over all. Hoping to get back to it soon. Until then it’s #moonboard time. #trainhardclimbharder
