The climate crisis is not the only crisis we face. We face so many overlapping and intersecting emergencies — from surging white supremacy, to gender-based violence, to gaping economic inequality — that we simply can't afford to fix them one at a time.

We therefore need an integrated approach: policies designed to bring emissions down to zero while creating huge numbers of good, unionized jobs and delivering meaningful justice to those who have been most abused and excluded under the current extractive economy.

We need a just transition — recognizing that the work of confronting the climate emergency at speed and scale opens up a window to build a society that is fairer on every front, and where everyone is valued.

In a recent #EuropeanUnion investigation into the purity or otherwise of #honey, nearly half of all samples were found to be adulterated with non-honey sweetening agents or various sorts; which points to significant #fraud against customers.

Ha, you might say; thank god we left #Europe & their double-dealing food manufacturers... sadly, of the ten samples from UK makers, all (100%) were adulterated, making the fraud endemic (on this evidence).

Luckily #Brexit has allowed us to relax oversight!
