A little while ago now (I heard today is the last day of winter on the radio, this morning) I saw such a beautiful red tree on my morning walk.

SAHMRI Building
I was really struck by the interior of the SAHMRI building in Adelaide. It was great to see that so much effort had been put into making what needs to be a highly functional research building an interesting place to work.

Seen while walking the Goods Line in Sydney, a re-greened rail corridor in the style of New York’s Manhattan Sky Line.
Inspired by the idea of a treehouse, the building was designed by architect Frank Gehry as “a growing learning organism with many branches of thought, some robust and some ephemeral and delicate”.
