My first thought was "Again?" and the second "Why are people *still* using Fortinet?". The mind boggles.

@leffe well we don't disagree here.

Given AI is non deterministic. Can you actually state you can prevent a jailbreak at all.

I mean nothing is 100% secure but I feel like AI cannot be 50% secure.

US Gov asks Anthropic to ban 'foreign national' access to Fable, Mythos

The US government has ordered Anthropic to block all foreign nationals from accessing Fable 5 and Mythos 5, forcing the company to suspend both models worldwide. Anthropic is complying but disputes the basis, calling the cited jailbreak narrow and the capability widely available elsewhere.

BleepingComputer
Export bans surely work against your enemy getting access, I am sure of it, trust me bro.

@hugh in the example here unfortunately they still use biometric data for security and upload that centrally. Which is a terrible idea.
@hugh I know it does. NL also had it's experiments with it with IRMA and @yivi_privacybydesign. It surely will come. We just have to make sure it won't lead to over use. That is a real risk, but I take big issue with the current way we do verifications.
@hugh I know. That's why I ask.
@hugh for everyone who likes to use blockchain, I like to ask them how they will implement data retention as required by law.
