@CaroltheCrone ever since the diffusion models started not sucking I’ve been sending examples to my family with commentary “this is ai, beware of what you see now!” Having some confidence a photo was real was a nice run while we had it. Looking for the artifacts is temporary as the issues will be resolved. Now we go back to before times (before any of us were born) when critical thinking was essential and everything could be fabricated. I hope we make it through this transition period quickly.

Bring back the 91% top incremental tax rate. Make American government great again.

@pluralistic Cory Doctorow is a singular voice at this moment in time. I’ll read anything and everything he publishes. And you should too. This end to the “golden era” of the tech worker was always inevitable. And I know a lot of people who will suffer because of it.
