@jitteringrunt managed to delete last post! It was a ride of thirds! Nice, downpour and then sun. Roots were like ice pops.

If you're in a part of the world that celebrates Bonfire Night / Guy Fawkes, small request: before you light the bonfire please make sure there are no animals hiding inside. 🙏

Hedgehogs and other small mammals have a tendency to hide in piles of wood or twigs that have been left in a garden or park.

Poke the bonfire thoroughly with sticks before you light it, or best option by far is to build the bonfire just before you light it.
