How I built Timeframe, our family e-paper dashboard - Joel Hawksley

Over the past decade, I've worked to build the perfect family dashboard system for our home, called Timeframe:

It's very annoying the way I have to get half way through writing a long detailed explanation of why someone is wrong before I figure out why they're right.

After reluctantly catching up on the news during my snooze, this was the first bit I've read this morning that actually made me smile out loud (when you grin so wide and suddenly that your mouth actually makes noise):

"He was an audio engineer whose kid went to school in the area. No way in hell was he going to let anyone come for the kids on his watch."

"Another friend put it to me like this: "ICE has made the classic Nazi mistake. They've invaded a winter people in the winter."

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

I can already tell my late future is living like
Harrison Ford in a booby trapped, abandoned casino in Vegas to escape the AI slop.

I boost, therefore I am.
Don't let people tell you that telephoto on the iPhone Air isn't great
I'm just going to say it, the Fediverse is where all the folks who made the Internet cool in the 1990s are now located.
The Wash. Post declares that we've just entered a "new age of political violence." Setting aside the fact that we still know nothing about the motives or political background of the guy who killed Kirk, I find it interesting that we apparently had not yet entered a new age of political violence after any of the violent acts listed on the right - acts for which we *did* know something about the perpetrators' motives and political background.
