There was a popular post going around like, "get some joy from life, pirate stuff" and it kinda irked me.
Yeah, I get it, evil megacorp Disney, steal from them, rah rah, whatever (they still have employees who need jobs).
But as someone who has lived in drudgery all my life, and has very much wanted to break into a creative field like writing to escape it, yeah it demoralizes me to read "theft good if you're enjoying yourself."
I guess I still want to support creators, even at my own expense.
