@gedeonm For me the charging curve on the id4 made it a nonstarter compared to the i5/EV6. Granted the id4 isn’t bad, but the eGMP cars are just so good. Can’t count how many times I’ve pulled up to a charger with an id4 already there and left before them.

@sanguish For any EV, Tesla or otherwise, the answer is “it depends”. But in general for a full 0-100% charge:

Level 1 (120v AC): Days.
Level 2 (240v AC): Hours.
DC Fast Charging (400-1000v DC): Minutes.

Level 1 or 2 you'd do at home or work for the majority of your charging. Usually overnight. Set it and forget it.

DC Fast Charing ("Supercharging”) for road trips and other times you exceed your car's range in a single day.

And no, you don't have to sit in your car while it's charging.

@marioguzman Firewire 400 confirmed for iPhone 16.
New iPhone cameras are great, but tell me more about that iSight box on the set.
The only X I really care about.
Not sure when it changed, but Logic Pro on iPad now supports Stage Manager.
@sanguish I can help 🙂 What do you need done? Can also send over the original Illustrator file if you want.
@TechConnectify Really appreciate you making this video so quickly. I've always enjoyed your perspective on EVs. Measured, informative, and entertaining. My wife and I watched many of your videos as well as those from 8-Bit Guy last year when deciding to make the jump to our EV6.
Logic on iPad is really incredible. My 2018 11" iPad Pro is able to power a Tascam US-2x2 over USB C - including an attached XLR mic, receiving its input as well as MIDI from an attached keyboard. No auxiliary power...except on the powered studio monitors. Using an iPad to power all of this really brings up some interesting opportunities around ergonomics and setup. I no longer need a full laptop or desktop for this.
