@rizzi Hey. I really love the new Reeder app. Recently I’ve been trying Tapestry. The Reeder experience is overall better but the there is a feature that Tapestry has that I almost can’t live without: Mutes/Muffles. That feature helps me make my feeds even better by reducing noise. I use that feature to collapse or remove items that mention certain keywords. Any plans for Reeder to have a similar feature?

I’m loving Kagi search more and more. I would love to be able to bring up a Kagi search bar and begin typing my query. I can somewhat do that with LaunchBar but I first have to launch LaunchBar. Any ideas? #macos #kagi #automation

Thoughts on the new Reeder app

The first thing I tried to do in the new Reeder app was to try to add my Feedbin account. I couldn’t. I wondered whether it was hidden somewhere in the new UI or perhaps it was behind an in-app purchase. It was neither, adding Feedbin and other similar services was intentionally deprecated. Whilst I’m still not sure that this change is the best fit for my needs, this could be make the on-boarding experience far easier for new users.
