What's everyone's favorite Windows developer laptop for this year?
I am moving on from a Lenovo Legion AMD gen 6. Looking at a Legion Pro 7i gen 8 but I hear the build quality has gone down hill the last couple years. I enjoyed @Nick_Craver laptop updates but haven't seen any lately. I do have a MacBook Air 13 M2 but for my job I do need a dev class Windows 16/17" laptop. #dotnet

Pros:
* Understands your stack better than you do after glancing through the repo for five minutes.
* Will rewrite said stack 2x as fast, and half as buggy if you let them.
Cons:
* Gives zero fucks.
* Knows we're not *really* like family here.
* No, seriously, absolutely zero fucks given.
Do not cite the deep magic to me, product manager, I was there when it was written.

Suddenly on the intercom: “Hey guys, Ozzy is in the back doing mocap and he can’t perform without an audience. Can anyone come back here and cheer for him?”
Tables and chairs were flipped. Devs were running screaming down the halls.
Then there we were, home made mosh pit, 6 feet in front of Ozzy while he lip synced Crazy Train in a spandex mocap suit. And we raged hard because we were helping Ozzie!🤘
