In good Buddhist tradition, we had our car blessed by a monk in #Thailand today.

I sincerely feel for non-binary people in the US right now. I hope I’m wrong but I’m suspecting a wave of bigotry and hatred even bigger than what you usually must endure may be coming to hit you all.

Stay safe!

There aren't very many bad things about life in #Thailand, but this is certainly one of them: just like every year the north of #Thailand is breaking all #AQI records again.

For reference: 301 and higher is defined as hazardous for your health. The whole of the north is almost 500, which is the maximum.

it's been going on for weeks already and it if anything, it just seems to get worse every year.

Luckily here in Khon Kaen we escape the worst of it, but it's still pretty bad with level 239.

Look who’s back πŸ‘πŸ˜€

I don't think so...

Temperatures have skyrocketed in the past week, and are now approaching 40 degrees Celsius (104 F) here in Khon Kaen, #Thailand, which is a little high even for the locals 🀣
Elon’s at it again. Expect the numbers to rise even more πŸ˜€ #twittermigration

I took this picture almost exactly 10 years ago, just after sunrise from the balcony of my room in the Katiliya Mountain Resort & Spa in Mae Chan, Chiang Rai, #Thailand.

In the years after, this was always the first picture I looked at whenever I felt I missed #Thailand. It helped instill in me the dream of coming to live here after retirement.

I feel extremely thankful that I was able make that dream a reality a little more than 2 years ago. I haven't regretted a single moment of it yet.

…and here’s the next one. Someone is either making an elaborate joke or trying to pull a fast one…
