Bad at intros, but let me try.
I’m Parpi. Not a kid anymore, been in the computer field since the nineties. Used to be a developer for many many years. Then, by accident, got interested in Linux (Mandrake Linux back then… gosh lol) and eventually moved to a RHEL SysAdmin role. Fast forward several years and I was talked into management, which I do to this day.
I really would like to use my experience to add a bit to the open source community.
I like photography and travelling. Living in Portugal
@greenpeace Millionaires as in “net worth > 1 million”? That’s a house nowadays…
@autobrain Quando isso acontece comigo, eu envio esse link: https://nohello.net/pt-br/
no hello

please don't say just hello in chat

@Av8rdan Have you ever heard of the freetube app?
@dajb In my opinion DuckDuckGo’s browser nailed it with just a link to duck.ai in the browser bar. Firefox should go along the same lines… no reason to over engineer things
Epson won’t let me print B&W when I’m out of color ink. F*you Epson

I’ve been contacted by someone close to the #Mozilla story. They’ll gather some more info and we’ll record an interview to shed light on how this came to be, and what’s being done to try and improve things at Mozilla from the inside.

Stay tuned!

@purplepadma I was thinking the same. Call me weirdo or whatever, but for me it is absolutely normal to live with very little access to social media. Mastodon once a month is probably my average. I’m still very well informed and well connected to my friends. Social media concept is just overrated.

I’ve been using the #Framework laptop 16 for about a month, and it’s almost the perfect #Linux laptop!
